There is not much I can negatively say about this book! Her plot, her character, her “voice”, he is all awesome. Charley is hilarious and some of the thoughts that run through her head in general conversation or atmosphere are things that would run through my head and most people I know….though that could say a lot about me too. LOL

Though I did predict the twist at the end, I did not get it until just before SHE realized it. THAT twist, will make you want to pick up Second Grave on the Left AS SOON AS you finish this one. LOL Her’s and all of the characters have a solid back story that is woven into the existing story so there is no lull in the reading or awkward flashbacks. Charley’s personal life is woven into her work and the case she is working on so smoothly it as though you are one of the many ghost that hang out with her.

Over all, I CAN’T WAIT, to get my hands on the next book. I checked out the audio version, unabridged, from my library and they don’t have the second, but I put in a request. If they take to long, I will have to settle for happily reading the physical version. To date, I believe there are 12 books in the series….
